frequently asked questions
-
do you have a storefront?
i do not have a storefront and currently work out of flowers and company in white rock and my home in new westminster, bc. while i have enjoyed my time as a retail and event florist, i am hoping to nurture my unique floral design on my own time as i continue to work as an educator and community organizer.
-
do you do large-scale weddings and corporate events?
at this time, i am stepping gently away from the demands of large-scale events, choosing instead to plant my energies into more intimate gatherings— small to medium in size, rich in meaning. if you are unsure whether your vision aligns with my current offerings, i warmly invite you to reach out so that i can explore possibilities with you.
-
how can we connect?
i am available via email, phone-calls and in-person meetings at local cafés. i will do whatever i can to ensure that you trust the flower process ensuring that each petal and stem reflects a shared vision, thoughtfully growing together.
-
where can i see examples of your work?
under the tab, ‘galerie’, i have curated a gallery of flower moments— arrangements that i feel most intimately reflect my work as a floral designer. for more glimpses into my creative process and recent blooms, i invite you to visit my instagram, linked in the top left corner.
-
what should my budget be?
your budget should thoughtfully reflect the nature of your envisioned floral dream. i encourage you to consider the variety and seasonality of blooms, the scale of the arrangement, and the form, material, and size of the vessels that hold them. due to the many beautiful variables, i encourage you to connect with me directly for a more personalized estimate tailored to your needs.
-
how much time do you need in advance?
due to the nature of my work as a teacher and community organizer, i am unable to accommodate same-day floral requests. for made-to-order arrangements whether birthdays, get well, or heartfelt condolences, and more, i kindly ask for at least one week’s notice. for weddings and other significant life events, a minimum of one month allows us the time to gather inspiration, align on budget and mood, and thoughtfully source each bloom.
