i create on the stolen, ancestral, occupied, and traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples. teaching, learning, and dreaming on these lands requires the collective liberation of historically and presently oppressed peoples and the Earth. i am rooted in my agency by acknowledging the sovereign lands of the Kwantlen, q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), SEMYOME (Semiahmoo), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), et sel̓íl̓witulh (Tsleil-Waututh). these are just seven of the many groups of Indigenous Peoples who have cared for these lands, waters, and airs since time Immemorial on Turtle Island, and who continue to do so today despite the injustices that have been and are currently being enacted against them by the colonial state known as 'canada'. please join me in learning about whose land our lives benefit from here.
